Abstract
13,109. Matthews, H., and Stribrny, K. June 6. Milling.- In a lathe attachment for cutting wheels, milling-cutters. reamers, keyways, &c., the cutter spindle j, Fig. 2, is mounted on centres k in a framing e clamped on the slide rest, and the wheel &c. l to be cut is mounted between the lathe centres. The cutter spindle is driven through spur and bevel gearing from a shaft f, which may be provided with a hand-wheel or may be bevel-geared to a pulley shaft.
