Loom shuttles. - In a shuttle constructed to facilitate threading and to minimize the drag on the weft, the weft passes over a grooved pulley 3 mounted in a slot 4, to a recess 5, and out between metal or porcelain posts or guides 6, which may be made in one piece and be held in position by pins 7, 8. The weft passes out to the right or to the left of the pin 7 according as fine or coarse weft is used ; in the latter case, the pulley 3 may be omitted.
