6323. Fairweather, W. C., [Hardt, J., (Firm of)]. March 15. Incandescent gas lamps ; reflectors.-In an incandescent gas lamp having an inverted conical or arched reflector b to throw the light upwards and produce diffused light, air inlets, screened against the passage of light, are provided in the centre of the reflector. These inlets consist of slots i<2>, Fig. 3, between inclined blades i<1>. A chamber k, containing the Bunsen suction chambers e and air inlets d, is fixed below the reflector. In a modification, the Bunsen tubes are situated wholly above the reflector, the chamber k being dispensed with.
