Abstract

29,446. Zeiss, C., [Firm of]. Nov. 5, [date applied for under Patents Act, 1901]. Lenses, photographic. Relates to the particular type of double unsymmetrical objective described in Specification No. 6028, A:D. 1890, [Abridgment Class Photography], in which each of the components consists of a positive and negative lens cemented together, a dispersing cemented surface presenting its concavity to the diaphragm on one side, and a collecting cemented surface similarly presenting its convexity on the other side, while in each component, or in the one only possessing the cemented dispersing-surface, the negative lens.has a greater dispersive power than the positive lens. According to the present invention, the refractive index of the positive lens forming the dispersing cemented surface is at least equal to 1À54.
