Animals; inflatable toys.- A race game apparatus comprises representations of the whole or part of a goose or other fowl provided at the beak with a tube connected to a pump or the like. The pumps may be adapted to inflate and burst balloons situated at the ends of the tubes or to draw liquid through the tubes, out of containers. As shown in Fig. 1, the invention comprises a number of geese b situated in a framework a and each connected by a pipe e to a pump f adapted to be operated by a lever g. Each goose, Fig. 2, is provided at the beak with a tube c to which a balloon d is attached. The head of each goose is adapted to move with the corresponding lever g, to which it is connected by cords i, i<1> coupled by a spring- controlled bell-crank lever i<2>. The upper part ) j of the beak is attached to the head by a spring k and rises and falls as the head moves. The geese may be stuffed with cotton wool or spiral springs, or may be provided with a bladder l, Fig. 3, forming an enlargement of the pipe e, or the bladder may be connected to the pipe e by an auxiliary pipe n, Fig. 6. Valves o, p, q are provided in each pipe e to control the admission and exhaust of the air, while an automatic relief valve r limits the maximum pressure.
