Bottling. - A n appliance for holdi n g or retaining bottles, flasks, phials, &c. while filling them with liquids consists of a bracket a, b, c, adapted to be secured to a table, bar counter, &c. by a thumb-screw d, the pillar a of the bracket having a rubber or rubber-covered block f, against which the bottle &c. m is held by the rubber or other resilient band or spring j, thus leaving both hands of the attendant free. The band j is provided with a handle k, and the arm c of the bracket may be provided with projecting fingers or a plate c' to support the bottle &c.
