Abstract
2868. Pertot, G. Feb. 6, 1905, [date applied for under Patents Act, 1901]. Propelling. - An arrangement of screw propellers, shown applied to ships, may be adapted to air-ships. The propellers a are placed at about one-thitd the length of the structure from the stem, with the shafts inclined, and are driven by turbines d. Two propellers are preferably fitted, one on each side of the keel. In the case of large vessels, four or more such propellers are used.
