Abstract

190,590. Stamper, S. W. Oct. 27, 1921. Trouser stretchers; combined presses and stretchers.-A pair of hinged boards B is provided with lever like fittings E pivoted at D and attached at H to a band through springs or the like. The band passes through apertures in the boards B and bridges the gap at the hinge. Upper boards or frames F are provided with pins G to engage hooks on the fitting E. In operation the trousers are placed on the boards B when flat the boards F are placed on the trousers, the pins G engaged with their hooks and the press folded to stretch the trousers. Tabs Y and pins Z or hook and eye serves for fastening purposes.
