20,512. Favero, M. Oct. 10. Incandescent lamps, caps and holders for. Contact-plates c, Fig. 1, are sunk in pits b in an insulating-filling in the lamp cap a, which is of porcelain or like material. The plates c may be separated from the bulb by the filling, or may rest on plates serving to connect the cap to the bulb. In the holder, the plunger cylinders g, Fig. 3, are loosely fitted in sockets in an insulating block h, and are closed at the ends by screws j serving also to hold the wires, for the passage of which the heads of the screws are notched. A perforated disk k of cork may be placed over the face of the block to keep out damp; the lamp may be tightened against the disk by means of a nut l.
