18,119. Liebhaber, Eric Daniel, Baron de. Sept. 7. Dust-laying and like compositions.-Relates to the process described in Specification No. 16,400, A.D. 1904, [Abridgment Class Roads &c.]. For preventing the formation or rising of dust in coal and other mines, the passages &c. are sprinkled with a'solution in water of calcium or magnesium chloride or of both, the solution being preferably of about 20‹-25‹ BÚ. The effect of the treatment is to bind the dust, and, in the case of coal mines, the dust is rendered to a certain extent non-inflammable.
