Spring wheels.- A pneumatic or other elastic tube 15 is retained in position by sets of spokes 3, 10 attached to the hub and tyre respectively. The spokes are extended, as shown at 4, 11, to embrace half the tube, and are formed with projections 5, 12 which enter recesses 19, 20 in clamping-rings 16, 17. Bearing- balls 14 are placed in recesses 13, 6 in the abutting surfaces of the spokes, the tension of which may be adjusted by means of screwed sleeves 2, 9. Lateral play is prevented by the spokes passing through retaining-brackets 21, 22 attached to the clamping-rings.
