2322. Carley, A. T. Feb. 6. Incandescent gas lamps; globe holders.-The mixing-tube b is bent as shown in Figs. 1, 2, and 3 to produce an inverted flame, and is provided with a pilot jet tube inside or outside the tube b. The globe holder c is carried by wire supports j, Fig. 3, from the mantle support g, or by a clip d, Fig. 1, and the mantle carrier i is shaped as shown in Fig. 8. The mixing-tube can be slipped on the bunsen part of an upright incandescent burner.
