Incandescent gas lamps; reflectors; lighting gas.-An inverted lamp, especially adapted for street lighting, is provided with several mixing-tubes h connected to a common mixing- tube f and mixing-chamber g, and the mantles are supported by a reflector y secured within the lamp casing, a plate 3 preventing the combustion products from impinging on the chamber g. The mantle rings 6 are each formed with two pairs of projections 7, 8, the upper pair 7 being passed through slots in the reflector and then turned until they abut against projections on the reflector. The casing is constructed as shown and secured by nuts l, o on the gas pipe, the air-inlet tubes e being arranged beneath an overlapping flange r of the casing, and the globe holder 4 being connected to a preferably enamelled dished flange w attached to the bulging part t of the casing in which air inlets v are formed. The pilot jet nozzles 13 are connected to i common pilot pipe. Specifiations Nos. 10,552 and 14,976, D. 1904, are referred to. ccording to the Provisional Specifiecation, the casing may comprise a chimney Pt and two dome-shaped parts with overlapping @ and with perforations in their lower sides, thair-inlet tubes preferably projecting through or close to the upper perforations, and the reflector being carried by the lower part of the lower dome-shaped part.
