Abstract

27,636. Allgemeine Elektricitõts-Ges. Dec. 19, A.D. 1903, [date applied for under Patents Act, A.D. 1901]. Void. [Published under Patents Act, A.D. 1901.] Dynamos, regulating.-In a system of train lighting in which a dynamo driven from the car axle is employed, the strength of the current charging the accumulators B, Fig. 2, through a bridge arrangement of "electric valves," e.g. four aluminium cells C', c<2>, c', c<4> or the like, is maintained constant at varying speeds by means of a field winding G, in series with the accumulators, which acts in opposition to the shunt field winding F.
