Abstract

18,672. Ives, F. E. Sept. 17, A.D. 1903, [date applied for under Patents Act, A.D. 1901]. Producing stereoscopic and composite photographs ; cameras.- Line composite stereoscopic photographs are made by subjecting the sensitive surface to parallax projection, through a line screen, of light passing through a stereoscopic pair of ordinary negatives. The negatives C<1>, lenses B, line screen x, and sensitive surface A<1> are arranged as shown, so as to form a copying-camera. In order to fill in, with even shading, the light spaces between the lines of the positive thus produced, supplementary apertures D, E, F on both sides of the lenses B serve to allow diffused light to fall upon the screen x and surface A<1>.
