Dressing stone, marble, &c.-A block of stone, marble, &c. 18 to be dressed or moulded to a straight or curved form, is secured to a table 4 which is pivoted at 6 to the reciprocating table 5 and is oscillated by a lever 9 pivoted at 10 to the table 5, the lever having rollers or shoes 7, 11 to engage grooves in the table 4 and an angularly adjustable rail 12. The rail stand carries rollers 14 for supporting the table 5. The tool-holder 19 is adjustable vertically and horizontally, and may be pivoted at 20 opposite to the mid-position of the table 4 so that the tools may operate during both strokes of the table 5.
