23,093. Fletcher, F. T., and Fletcher, W. G. Oct. 26. Audible signals.-On electric or steam trams or cars, a signal, such as a bell, is operated when the speed reaches a predetermined limit. Fig. 2 shows a speed indicator, of any known kind, provided with a pointer 1, and peripheral speed indications, opposite any desired one of which a contact 2 is placed. The contact and pointer are included in a circuit comprising the lead 16, battery 4, lead 14, bell 15, and lead 17. When the speed is attained, the bell rings.
