18,675. CadgÞne, J. Aug. 29. Dyeing.-In a process for printing textile fabrics, a greasy mastic is printed on the cloth and a reserve formed, and the colours are then sprayed on to the exposed parts by means of steam or compressed air to form a pattern in the rainbow style or saddening style, or in polychrome or monochrome. The mastic is dried before the application of the colour spray, and is afterwards removed by washing with benzene. The spray is applied in a machine fitted with discharge pipes for the several colours used.
