10,120. Pareis, J. May 4. Tobacco pipes and cigar and cigarette holders.- A bowl for the tobacco is surrounded by a filtering - chamber leading into a w a t e r chamber. The bowl 2 carrying a hinged cap 10 hangs in an outer casing 1, into which the smoke passes by the orifice 8, and from which the smoke is led out by pipes 6 which project below the diaphragm 5 into a water trap 7. The casing 1 screws or fits into the chamber 7 and may be packed with some filtering - material. The arrangement is stated to be applicable to cigar and cigarette holders.
