632. Harman, A. Jan. 11. Tobacco pipes.-The bowl is constructed in two parts screwed together, and has a perforated false bottom B under which is placed a plug of porous mineral carbon to absorb the moisture and nicotine. A small tube E, fitted in the bottom of the bowl, acts as a passage for the smoke. Saliva is caught in a chamber F, and may be removed by withdrawing the mouthpiece and shaking the tobacco pipe.
