Gas-producers.-Relates to gas-producers having vertical air inlet grates and gas exits so arranged that the products of combustion from the upper layers of fuel pass through the lower layers. The charging-hopper forms an extension of the generating-chamber. Fig. 1 shows a producer for poor fuel.
