Abstract
24,574. Frankenberg, E. Nov. 10. Coated fabrics.-A casing, containing a machine for vulcanizing fabrics waterproofed with indiarubber, is provided with openings covered with canvas or other material through which air is admitted, a current of it being drawn through the casing by a fan. The vulcanizing-trough is covered as described in the preceding Specification No. 24,573, and is placed out of the air current. The casing may be as described in Specification No. 6U08, A.D. 1885, made as small as possible ; it is preferably of sheet iron, with glass windows.
