Conductors; switches. - T h e switch members which connect the exposed conductors to the insulated main, consist of pivoted arms d or travellers f mounted on endless belts, chains, &c. c which run on rollers b in the closed box. The magnets e on the vehicle lift the switches to complete the connection as between g<1>, g<2>, and at the same time carry them forwards.
