Abstract

26,402. Bartlett, F. G. Dec. 27. Gas cocks.-A gas tap fitted with a device for cutting off the supply to any required extent is shown in Fig. 2. A collar b with a projecting stop c is adjustably secured on the plug f by means of a nut a. The position of the stop regulates the extent which the stop pin e on the plug can travel, and so regulates the supply. A spring h around the plug keeps the working parts in position. The adjustment may be effected by means of a screwed stud k, Fig. 4, in a lug l on the casing.
