Basting - appliances.-Relates to improvements i n meat &c. basting- apparatus such as described in Specification No. 15,370, A.D. 1895, in which the fat or gravy is collected in a well and forced thence up a tube to a distributer. A cup device to stand in the well is shown in Fig. 3, and comprises an outer cup 1 and an inner cup 2, through both of which the uptake tube 3 passes, the lower edges of the three parts being at ascending levels. The lower edge or the cup 1 may be serrated. Three or more cups may be similarly arranged. The tube 3 may be telescopically adjustable.
