Abstract
300,532. Beveridge, S. M. Aug. 12, 1927. Invalids' tables or desks. - A table with an inclinable top or tray has a telescopic standard A, Fig. 1, and a detachable base B on rollers C. The tray or top G is pivoted at E, and is secured in a horizontal or inclined position by a tethered pin J insertible in one of a series of holes F, Fig. 2, in a semicircular plate D. In a modification. Fig. 4, the standard A is secured, to the side of a ship's berth by a clamp U, V, and the trap or top G, which is pivoted at R, Fig. 5, to a bracket P is secured in a horizontal or inclined position by a spring-pressed pin S. The bracket P is pivoted at T to enable the tray G to be swung down out of the way. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 10586/15 and 229,971.
