Tyres, elastic. other than pneumatic; felloes or rims.-Relates to the attachment of a tyre to a channel-shaped wheel rim, the tyre and rim being shown in separate section in Figs. 2 and 4. The rim 3 has a central undercut flange 7 and inturned beaded sides 4, which engage with the flanges 11 formed on the base of the tyre 5. At one part of the rim, the sides are slotted and small sections 9 are bent outwardly to allow the tyre to be inserted, gaps 10 being formed in the flanges 11 to facilitate this. The sections 9 are afterwards closed back into line with the sides of the rim.
