Cigarettes.-The filler of a cigarette is covered at one end with a piece of unmanufactured tobacco leaf, which is perforated at the end to allow the passage of the smoke. The leaf is secured to the filler by a suitable adhesive, and with the filler is inserted in the wrapper. The leaf prevents the escape of particles of tobacco into the mouth, and renders the cigarette firm &c.
