Abstract

8338. Potter, W. April 23. Mitering. - Relates to an attachment for a mitre box. The saw guide-pieces 23 are mounted on the end of an arm C, which rotates in a bearing on the top of a frame A which is screwed on the mitre box 26, 27. An arm D, pivoted to the axis 21 of the arm C, falls into notches 16, 17, 18, &c., and holds the saw guides at the required angle. When the arm C is set, its axis is clamped by a set-screw 15 in the loop B which passes round the axis.
