22,645. Humfrey, C. Dec. 12. Gas stoves.-The gas supply is betted by the waste heat from the fire, so as to enable poor gas, such as producer gas to be used. In the example shown, the gas-supply tube C passes as a coil through a flue D leading from the fireplace A to the chimney E. The gas is then led to the burner tube B, having burners consisting of holes in the tube, each with a central extra air-supply tube N projecting above the tube B. The incandescent material is heated in the usual way. The coil may be placed in other flues, such as in the flue J. The flues E and D may be connected by a flue I.
