6307. Legg, J. H. April 4. Strap fastenings.-Relates to strap fastenings for leggings and gaiters. Fig. 1 shows an external view of the legging open, and Fig. 3 shows the legging when fastened. The fastening is effected by two straps 6, 7, which engage respectively with buckles 4, 5. From the lower edge of the strap 6 and from the upper edge of the strap 7 extend straps 8, 10, which are connected together and to the outer overlapping part 3 of the legging near the centre of the legging so as to secure an equal stram all over the legging when buckled.
