Curtains And Furnishings For Windows Or Doors
(AREA)
Abstract
3356. Venen, A. S., and MacLeod, A. L. Feb. 20. Curtains, drawing and suspending; brackets.- A curtain pole is in two sections 1, 2, one having a rib 3 and the other a recess 4. The two parts are pulled together by a spring 7, and may be held apart, while inserting the curtain, by pivoted links 8, 9, one of which has a lug 10 to limit the motion. The curtain is wrapped round a rod, and is prevented from slipping by the projection 5 and notch 6. End clip brackets are formed by a spring band 13 connected at the bottom to plates 12. When the pole is supported on projecting brackets, the sections are held together by a spring-fingered socket 15 with end knob 16.
