2364. Solomon, M. Feb. 6. Locking bolts.-Relates to means for attaching door knobs, applicable also to other articles. The spindles B, C screw into the follower A of the lock with threads of different pitch. The spindles are moreover connected by a screw of another pitch. If either knob is turned, it cannot be unscrewed, being locked by the differential threads. The knobs can, however, be disconnected by unscrewing them at a suitable relative speed.
