20,254. Frank, A. Oct. 9. Stamps, postage and like.-Relates to cigar boxes specially designed to prevent fraudulent re-filling. The box A is provided with an interior partition B having rubber packing-strips at its end so as to be removable when necessary. The ends of the cigars project through apertures in the partition, as shown in plan in Fig. 2 and in vertical section in Fig. 3. A revenue stamp D or other strip of adhesive paper is formed with extensions d, the shape of which is clearly shown in Fig. 2. The stamp is secured to the partition and the extensions d to the ends of the cigars, so that the latter cannot be removed without tearing the stamp.
