The sheets are knocked-up against stationary guides S, S' at rightangles to each other. The guide S is adjustable by means of a tubular L-shaped bracket T fixed to it, and a rod T' movable through a boss on the bracket U. The guide S' is attached to the bracket U, which is adjustable on a guide V. The sheets are knocked-up by boards A, B at right-angles to each other and mounted on an L-shaped bracket C adjustable along a rod D fixed in brackets M pivoted on the ends of arms K, L on fixed pivots K<1> and Q. The arm L has a projection Q<1> engaged and operated by a roller R<1> on a cam piece R fixed to the flyer shaft J. The parts are returned by a spring P connected to an arm O<1> on the pivot shaft K<1>. The board B may have an adjustable part F carried by a rod G movable in a socket on the part B. The position of the cam piece R may be so adjusted that it operates the arm L and knocking-up boards, both as the flyer moves towards, and away from, the delivery board.
