Eyeglasses.-The nose-pieces 2<a>, 2<a1> and 2<b>, 2<b1> are cut in the same blank as the bridge 2, and are bent so that the upper parts 2<a>, 2<b> curve upwards and backwards and have a twist at the ends, while the lower parts 2<a1>, 2<b1> are nearly vertical in the plane of the glasses : the bridge 2 bends forwards and rests on the nose. The clip, Fig. 8, for attaching the nose-pieces and bridge to the lenses is bent from the blank shown in Fig. 7, the parts 3, 3<a> clasping the lenses and being provided with holes for the screws 6, 6<a>. The points 3<d>, 3<d> form the strap, while the arms 3<e>, 3<e1> and 3<f>, 3<f1> are bent round the projections 2<c> or 2<d> and the branches 2<a1> or 2<b1> respectively.
