A wire A or its equivalent encircles the upper part of the steering-tube B or a fitting secured thereto, and then is crossed so as to embrace the adjacent frame member C. One end of the wire A is secured to the lug D<2> of a bracket D, and the other end of the wire is screwed and passes through the lug D<1> of the bracket D, and is secured by a nut E, or any other tensioning- device may be used. By screwing up the nut E the movement of the steering-tube may be prevented or resisted. A chain G retains the nut E. The Provisional Specification states that a pin or bracket secured to the frame may be used in place of the frame member C.
