Abstract
26,618. Legge, W., and Gilesple, P. Nov. 15. Perambulators; children's folding vehicles.-Fig. 2 is an end elevation showing the vehicle partly folded. The seat A is hinged to one of the sides S at B, and is connected to the other side S<1> by a double hinge C, C' of the form described in Specification No. 23,567, A.D. 1893. The ends of the vehicle are hinged to the sides. Stays G, pivoted to lugs F<1> on the framing, are connected to the lugs F<2> by the bar H. Chains J connect the ends of the stays G to the seat A, which, when lifted, causes the vehicle to fold, and chains E f a s t e n e d to the sides and lugs on the framing act as stays when the vehicle is opened. The seat has a well or bag K made of American cloth, which may be stretched when desired by a board L.
