Abstract

21,517. Attwood, C. J. Sept. 20. Spray producers.-Relates to a spraying bottle or vessel for distributing disinfectants, scents, hair washes, &c. The vessel A is provided with a siphon tube b<1>, which terminates in the nozzle E and is normally closed by a valve controlled by the lever W. The nozzle is provided with a terminal screw cap K, which is formed with one or more fine perforations k<3>. The vessel is charged with the liquid and with air or gas under pressure, so that, when the valve is opened, the liquid is discharged through the tube b<1> and perforations k<3> in the form of a spray. The nozzle E, instead of being vertical, may be inclined at any suitable angle.
