20,311. Sharples, W., and Sharples, J. B. Sept.3. Stoppers; sealing bottles; refilling, preventing. - The bottle a is formed with an outer casing or jacket b, and the space c is filled through the aperture d with a pungent or other suitable liquid, the aperture d being afterwards sealed. This construction is adapted to prevent the abstraction of the contents of the bottle by boring. In addition, an internal ball e is connected to a cord f which passes through the ordinary cork g. When the cork has been inserted and the cord f drawn tight, a stopper h is inserted in the neck and cemented in position. The bottle is opened by breaking the neck at the part j and withdrawing the cork. The ball e serves to indicate whether the bottle has been opened.
