Abstract

189,484. Sweetland, I. July 25, 1921. Disc apparatus.-A portable electric grinding-machine is provided with a hollow pistol-grip 12 disposed substantially perpendicular to the axis of the motor casing 10. A fan 40 mounted on the armature spindle circulates air through the handle, windings, and ports 41 in the motor casing. A push-switch 35 is provided for controlling the motor and is disposed so as to be operated by the thumb of the operator. The grinding-wheel is secured on the armature spindle direct.
