Abstract

187,656. Marks, E. C. R., (Buxton, Inc.). June 21, 1921. Key holders of the type described in Specification 157,313 are made of a folding strip 12 of leather, or the like, to which is fastened a metal plate 15, having bent-over portions 16, forming eyes for the hinge pin 17, and with spaces 18 for the hooks h. The plate 15 has also projections 19 which are bent over to secure the hinge pin 17 in position. The hooks are formed, as shown in Fig. 3, with a bent-over portion 20 to receive the pin, and a loop 23 to receive the key. A lip 25 is provided at the apex of the loop to facilitate insertion of the key. In the modification shown in Fig. 7, the members of the hook abut along a curved line, as shown at 27.
