Abstract

185,106. Aktiebolaget Stille-Werner. Aug. 23,1921, [Convention date]. Cutting slices in succession.-In a meat-holding device for a slicing-machine, of the type comprising a yoke 5 mounted on uprights 3, 4, and provided with a hinged spiked member 6 which adjusts itself to the shape of the meat, and at one extremity with a hole 11 to receive the upright 4 and at the other end with a bushed cylindrical sleeve 8 having a recess which contains a spring-actuated locking plate 14; the plate 14 is provided with a recess 16 at one end, which engages with the adjusting-screw 17, and at the other end is shaped to form a finger-piece 15 whereby the locking plate is released when adjusting the holder by the handle.
