Spouts.-To prevent drips from the spouts of tea-pots or other pouring-vessels, a. sharp cut-off for the flow of the liquid is formed by the junction c of the inner face a<1> of the breast of the spout and the inclined back face a<2> of the lip. A shallow recess a<4>, to retain the drips is provided inside the lip, and a slight depression a<6> is formed underneath the lip. The inner side faces of the lip may be swelled out at the. recess a<4>.
