602,608. Spouts of tea-pots &c. LIVING- STONE, J. G. July 9, 1945, No. 17433. Convention date, May 31, 1944. [Class 66] The spout of a jug or tea-pot &c. is recessed at 33 between the lip of the spout and a part 34 which is high when the teapot is in the pouring position, so that after pouring, liquid which is forward of the high point tends to accumulate in the recess 33 from which it or some of it drains back into the tea-pot when the latter is stood on its base. A channel 32 may extend from the recess 33 to the lip.
