Abstract

185,019. Tonks, W. H., and Matthews, A. J. Aug, 29, 1921. Roll-holders.- A holder fcr a roll of toilet paper &c. comprises two members, one of which is adapted to a a sliding engagement with the supporting bracket and to slide and to be automatically locked within the hollow portion of the other member contained within the roll. The locking-device consists of a stud 8, Fig. 3, projected radially from the hollow arm 7 of the sliding member 10 by a spring 17, the stud fitting in an aperture 6 in the hollow arm 2 of the fixed member 3. A projection 18 on the arm 2, near the aperture 6, prevents accidental depression of the stud 8 when the roll is in position.
