Abstract
215,369. Bracey, H. E. P. May 1, 1924. Roll holders.- A holder for toilet rolls &c. adapted to prevent pilfering comprises a base 17, Fig. 1, and arms 15 carrying laterally movable male and female members 10, 11, which are automatically locked together by a spring or springs 13 engaging a slot or slots 14, and which cannot be released until the roll is unwound. In a modified form the members 10, 11 are of U-section to reduce the tendency to undue delivery of material. In a further modification the member 11 is flat as shown in Fig. 6 and the member 10 is bent up from a flat blank to the form shown in Fig. 9.
