390,620. Roll-holders. McGEOCH, L. A. M. and McGEOCH, W. A., 28,)West Campbell Street, Glasgow. March 7, 1932, No. 6748. [Class 18.] A toilet roll-holder comprises a plate 1, formed with apertured lugs 6 and a recess 7, and a two-part bail 4 slidably mounted in the lugs, each part being formed with a cranked end 10 to engage in the recess 7 and having a roll-carrying mandrel 9 at the other end. To insert a roll 5, the bail members are rocked upwardly to disengage the cranked portions 10 from the recess 7 and are slid endwise through the lugs to make room for the roll. In this position the cranked portion 10 engage the plate 1 to hold the bail member in the raised position. When in use separation of the bail members is prevented by engagement of the cranked portions 10 with the sides 11 of the recess 7.
