Hydroplane vessels. - In hydroplanes in which the superimposed blades are arranged in groups and in series one behind the other, a locomotive car provided with sets of hydrofoils 11, 12 and a propeller transports a series of trailer cars 22 which are provided with hydrofoil sets 12 preferably at the rear so as to support the forward end of the adjacent car. One of the hydrofoil sets may be pivoted about a vertical axis and be provided with steering-gear, and intermediate sets may be freely pivoted to facilitate this action.
