Porcelain and like compositions.-A ceramic' material particularly suitable for electric insulation is obtained by firing a mixture containing beryl in addition to the usual ingredients, such as clay, silica., and feldspar. Suitable proportionsof beryl are 5-35 per cent of the mixture.
